Not all wounds are visible. Some are inflicted by silence, by ignorance, by the unbearable feeling of being unnoticed.
Deepti knew this pain well.
She was the student no teacher remembered. The child no one believed in. The girl who was never given a chance to prove herself.
She sat in classrooms where teachers played favorites, where those who struggled were left behind, where marks mattered more than minds. She walked corridors where friendships were currency, and she had none.
Somewhere in that loneliness, a fire ignited.
“If no one will see me, I will become the one who sees others. If no one will teach me, I will become the teacher who never lets a child feel forgotten.”
This wasn’t just a promise. It was a purpose.
Years later, the student who was overlooked became the teacher students couldn’t forget.
Fresh out of college, Deepti stepped into the world of teaching with fire in her soul and love in her heart. She refused to treat students as numbers. She listened. She cared. She made them believe they mattered.
And for that, she was punished.
Twice.
Both times, the very institutions that hired her turned against her. Her fresh approach, her connection with students—it wasn’t welcomed. It was threatening.
She was removed. Silenced. Pushed out.
But there’s one thing no institution can take away—a teacher’s calling.
She didn’t fight to stay in places that didn’t want her. Instead, she built a place that never turns students away.
When Haresh met Deepti, he saw what others had ignored.
He saw a woman who had been broken by the system but refused to let it break others. He saw someone who would rather build from scratch than compromise on her purpose.
Haresh, an entrepreneur who had fought his own battles, understood one thing: some people are born to lead, not follow.
And if the world wasn’t ready for Deepti’s vision, they would create a world that was.
Together, they founded Jyotirmani Foundation—not just a school, but a revolution in education.
A place where students wouldn’t just learn; they would find themselves.
The first step to creating a legacy is naming it with intention.
A tree without roots falls.
An institution without a foundation crumbles.
Deepti and Haresh knew that their roots were in India—in its wisdom, its culture, its philosophy. They didn’t want a borrowed name. They wanted something pure, timeless, and powerful.
They asked themselves:
• What do we want to create? A system that guides students, even when no teacher is around.
• What do we want to give? The ability to find answers, not just memorize them.
• What is the ultimate truth? “Atma Deepah Bhav”—Be your own light.
And so, Jyotirmani Foundation was born.
Starting wasn’t the hardest part. Growing was.
Most of their students came from families where education was a luxury—auto drivers, sweepers, daily wage workers. These were children who dreamed in silence because no one had ever asked them what they wanted to become.
So, Deepti asked.
And she listened.
And she gave.
Jyotirmani Foundation began providing:
They weren’t running a business. They were building a sanctuary. But dreams, no matter how powerful, need space to grow.
And that’s when they hit a wall.
Financially, they were sustainable—but sustainability isn’t growth.
They were teaching from home, transforming lives one room at a time. But they couldn’t stay within four walls forever.
If they wanted to reach more students, they needed more space.
If they wanted to bring change, they needed support.
They weren’t asking for help because they were struggling. They were asking for help because they were ready to fly.
CSR funding, partnerships, donations—these weren’t just about money. They were about giving wings to something the world desperately needs.
A place where education isn’t a burden but a journey.
Where learning isn’t about fear but about freedom.
Where no child is ever told they are not enough.
Haresh and Deepti aren’t here to create just another school.
They are here to redefine education itself.
Their vision?
Ask Haresh why Jyotirmani Foundation is different, and he won’t talk about certifications, numbers, or achievements.
He will say one word: “Pooja.”
To him, this is sacred.
Ask him what sets Jyotirmani apart, and he won’t hesitate:
“Deepti. Her vision. Her fire.”
Ask him how he sees Deepti, and he’ll say something the world will soon realize:
“She is Mother India to every child she teaches.”
If you’ve read this far, you are already connected to Jyotirmani.
You are already a part of something bigger than a school, bigger than education—you are a part of a revolution.
The question is: How will you contribute to it?
Jyotirmani Foundation isn’t asking for charity.
It’s offering you a chance to be a part of history.
We are not waiting for change.
We are the change.
Are you with us?
Conclusion: The Light We Ignite
This is not just a case study. This is our life’s purpose—a journey that began with a simple dream and turned into a revolution in education. Jyotirmani is not just a foundation; it is a beacon of light for every student who ever felt unheard, unseen, or unworthy.
We have walked this path alone, misunderstood, and challenged—yet, here we are, still standing, still giving, and still believing.
Because education is not a business. It is a responsibility.
Because students are not numbers. They are souls waiting to rise.
Because a school is not just a building. It is a sanctuary of wisdom.
And we? We are simply the keepers of this light.
I am Deepti, and this is our story.
We are Haresh and Deepti, and this is just the beginning.
